My story

House of IGHO wasn't always this successful, there were days I don't make sales, in fact, there were months at stretch that I won't make a single sales.
Thinking about all I have been thru brought back the memory of how house of IGHO started.
2005-2006, I was still in school( Lagos State poly) studying mass communication, I came home one day to see my sister watching a program on TV, but unfortunately it was about to end, but the little that I saw gave birth to what I am doing today. The program was an interview of one Entrepreneur who was into Ankara handbags, and in the course of the program showed how it was done, but I missed all that part, I only came in to meet the lady showing the finished bag, I was like, "wow, I didn't you you could use fabric( Ankara) to make handbags".
After that day I started studying handbags we had in the house, me being inquisitive and curious, I started trying my hands on making one. The fact that I actually do need handbags I can use to school and I couldn't afford to buy one for myself, made me practice even more, so I made more of the bags, the more I made, the better I got at it, and the more ideas I got. I made some pretty beautiful handbags back then, beautiful enough for my school mates to want one for themselves.
